The Swindon Polish Community and AlphaGalileo Foundation Ltd have great pleasure in inviting you to a reception to celebrate the contribution made to medical research and Swindon by Professor Dr Włodzimierz Koskowski.
Professor Dr Włodzimierz Koskowski and his wife, Sophie, retired to Swindon in 1963 after a life spent in medicine and pharmaceutical research. His research was carried out at the University of Lvov, Edinburgh and Alexandria in Egypt. For the last years of his life Dr Koskowski worked in general practice in Swindon. Dr Koskowski died on 20 May 1965. He and his wife are buried in Radnor Street Cemetery. More
The reception will be at the Polish Community Centre, Whitbourne Avenue, Swindon, from 12.30, Friday 20 May 2011.
