The 60th anniversary celebrations scheduled through May 25 are:
Open House at Studio of Quilt Maker Marla Hattabaugh
Visit the home studio of internationally known art quilt maker Marla Hattabaugh, where you will see the inner workings of fabric dyeing, screen printing, deconstructing, painting, and sewing by one of Scottsdale’s fibers artists living and working near downtown Scottsdale.
When: Noon-5 p.m., Sunday May 15 and 3-9p.m., Thursday May 19

TAP Into "S.N.A.P."
Scottsdale Neighborhood Arts Place will be hosting TAP Into S.N.A.P.!
Events include: Rhythms of the World Community Drum Circle—bring in your drums and percussion for an all inclusive drum circle. Drums will be provided for those without instruments. Open Arts Studio—spread your artistic wings with visual artist Rev. Burbank-Williams in the on-campus arts studio. Conscious Dance—guided dance with a “Passion” playlist theme led by DJ PermieDon. “Berger Bash”—on site BBQ with Grill Master Michael Berger.

Mid-Century Modern Architectural Tour
Join Scottsdale Historian Don Meserve for a guided introductory tour of mid-century modern architecture in Scottsdale. Approximately twelve destinations will be visited and a variety of uses are represented by the architecture including; civic buildings, townhouses, churches, industrial, commercial, and hotel uses.
When: Tour begins at 9 a.m., Saturday May 21

Sing-Along Sound of Music

Young Artists and Authors Showcase
The theme is "Shaping Your Community for a Greener Future" for the 23rd Annual 'Young Artists and Authors Showcase' exhibition sponsored by the Scottsdale Sister Cities Association.
The competition of high school art and writing submissions from throughout Scottsdale will be professionally juried.

The Pink Pony Rides Again! - daily
Scottsdale’s oldest restaurant (est. 1947) is honoring the past by hosting a display of photos and memorabilia on loan from the Scottsdale Historical Society. The Pink Pony will also be dedicating a dish weekly which will represent the Pony’s shared history with the city of Scottsdale throughout the decades. The recipes will be available to Pink Pony Patrons.
