By donating £15 you will be able to revel in and savour the tastes, sounds and delights of the Baytree Centre.
The Baytree Centre is located in an area of high deprivation on the edge of Brixton, London. The proportion of children and young people living in poverty is higher than average, as is infant mortality, teenage pregnancy, childhood obesity, primary and secondary school permanent exclusion levels and the proportion of 16 – 18 year olds who are not in education, employment or training. 60% of adults seeking employment have no qualifications or only very low level qualifications.
Baytree is a women’s centre whose aim is to break the intergenerational cycle of educational failure, unemployment, teenage pregnancy, drug abuse and crime through training programmes for women and study support and creative activities for girls.
Your £15 donation will entitle you to free entry to The Taste of Baytree evening, just bring your email confirmation from JustGiving to gain entry.* Should you wish to bring friends and family donate the appropriate amount (eg £30 for yourself and a friend; £45 for yourself and two friends etc).
